Présentation du fanzine ground – premier numéro sorti été 2018 – édité par Harry Burke (écrivain, critique, éditeur et commissaire d’expositions indépendant) et Marlie Mul (artiste, née en 1980 à Utrecht, vit et travaille à Berlin) avec les contributions de The Gate, Linda Stupart, Jean-Michel Wicker, Khairani Barokka, Reader’s Digestion, Sorryyoufeeluncomfortable et Marlie Mul.
« In collaboration with Centre d’edition contemporaine for artgenève, Harry Burke and Marlie Mul, the editors of ground, will curate a selection of prints and editions by artists featured in both their recently published first zine and in their forthcoming second publication. ground is an independently distributed zine that aims to look beyond institutions, in their current form, as the dominant spaces and frameworks in which to present and deal with artistic production, and instead explore grassroots political and aesthetic alternatives. The presentation at artgenève will highlight the ways that artists are using publishing and printmaking to achieve these aims, and will involve work by artists who are often underrepresented in international commercial presentations such as artgenève. » (Harry Burke)

Présentation de trois petits livres pour enfants, The Curious Squirrel (2015), The Brutal Turtle (2018) et The Furious Hamster (2018), de dessins récents et de trois objets sur roulettes
Pour le CEC à artgenève, Keren Cytter propose un petit salon de lecture pour enfants qui réunira une série de dessins récents et trois volumes sur roulettes : une boule rouge, une pyramide jaune, un cube bleu, à la fois formes mobiles et des petits sièges pour enfants. Cet environnement enfantin servira de display aux deux nouveaux livres de Keren Cytter, The Brutal Turtle et The Furious Hamster, coédités par Jacob Fabricius (directeur artistique de Kunsthal Aarhus), sa maison d’édition Pork Salad Press, Copenhague et le Centre d’édition contemporaine, Genève. Inside the Bubble-Booth
Avec Timothée Calame, Valentin Carron, Jakob Kolding, Matthew Langan-Peck, Matthew Lutz-Kinoy et Mélanie Matranga
Pour artgenève 2017 le CEC propose un mini-group show, Inside a Bubble-Booth, autour de l’idée d’organe et du corps morcelé. Le stand du CEC sera cette année transformé en un espace intime et organique. Cette proposition est aussi un prétexte à l’improvisation sur un thème proposé comme une envie, une intuition ou une piste de travail. Chaque artiste invité a été choisi sur ce postulat de départ, sans que leurs œuvres et leurs propositions n’illustrent spécifiquement le thème, elles le suggèrent ou y font allusion.
